McIlhinney to Introduce Safe Water Legislation 

State Senator Chuck McIlhinney (R-Bucks and Montgomery) will introduce legislation to strengthen Pennsylvania’s Safe Drinking Water Act at a press conference Wednesday, April 22 at 1 p.m. in the Capitol Media Center. 

McIlhinney’s legislation, Senate Bill 777, would require special protection of the groundwater, rivers and aquifers that supply our drinking water. McIlhinney will be joined by Senator Ted Erickson (R-26), Senator Andy Dinniman (D-19), Department of Environmental Protection Acting Deputy Secretary for Office of Water Management Dana Aunkst and Pennsylvania State Director for Clean Water Action Myron Arnowitt.
